ok I know this must have been covered here before,
I still very newbish here at boards and Most def here in politics.

But as the refernda on nice looms I find myself thinking
what options has anyone that abstains from voting either way.

Yes the out come on this should be clearly decisive ,
but we do have in this country a history of voting several times on the same issue when ever it suits the government and the lobbists.

Will we see another divorce vote not likely
the issue of abortion maybe I'm not holding my breath.

But with the electronic voting we no longer have the choice of a true protest vote that has to be counted and indeed tallied.

Never again will we see voting slips with the likes of " Dustin for Prez"

Yes all the politicains bemoan " spoilt " votes, but I would rather see people coming out getting thier ballots and spoiling them rather then not show at the polls.

May be there should be an abstaining button on the vote box along with Yes and No.
