Win XP + session time out

Situtation on 2 Win XP machines:
Machine-A logs into machine-B, on a serverless (domainless) workgroup. Machine A is prompted for username+pswrd.
Machine A now has a session open with machine B.

Now I can reopen \\machine-A whenever I want, and not again be asked for username+pswrd.


Question:
How do you get the session to time out or be reset, after a defined period of time, without having to log out of machine A?
So that as soon as I log back into machine-A using explorer, I'll again be asked for username+pswrd.


I've looked thorough gpedit.msc (local security policy), and cant find anything. Hence I presume the answer is buried somewhere in the registry.

when you say machine A is logging into Machine B are you talking about connecting to a UNC path or mapping a drive or something else?

Machine-A, using explorer accesses machine-B, \\machine-B.
(Same workgroup.) Enters username + pswrd, and game on.

When explorer is opened again, and machine-B accessed, the user won't be asked for usrname + pswrd. I want for this to happen.

Currently the only easy for it to work is for the currently logged
in user to log out. If the same user logs in again, they will be asked for the username+pswrd when accessing \\machine-B again.

Is logging out + in again, the only way for this to happen?
Can the username+pswrd be asked for, every time the machine is accessed?

(WinXP - guest only - user authenticate as guest.

but doesn't seem to work with Win XP. The username + password still automatically apply when ya try to browse the remote share again.
