Upgrade pc sound

I am pondering whether to upgrade my pc sound .
    Currently I have a C media I8738 5.1 soundchip connected to a set of Videologic ZXR-500 5.1 speakers.
The sound to my ear is very clear and extremely accurate.
Music sounds very good and games likewise.
I am wondering though what improvements a new dedicated soundcard would make.
The Muse 5.1 soundcard by Hercules uses the C Media chip and retails at 50 euro .
Obviously there is no point in me looking at this.
    So I have 3 choices
    1. Live 5.1 Retail : 45 euro
    2. Live 5.1 Platinum Retail ( breakout box ): 95 euro
    3. Audigy 1 OEM : 88 euro
Will these cards make a big differnce to my system or is it just marketing propaganda ?
    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    IN my experience
    the 5.1 or audigy chipsets..
    deliver superior sound quality
but also give u more features eg.
    2 way
    4 way surround sound

    etc
