    Can anyone please help....

I have a server with only 1 admin account. When I try to login I get the following error

"the local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactivly"

I have no "backdoor" account. Can anyone help ?

Have you tried logging in as the Domain admin and not the local admin ?

mmm not quite sure what you mean. There is only 1 account created on the server and thats the Admin one that I'm locked out of ?

Is it a terminal server by any chance ? Is it part of a Domain ?

It's a domain server. Basically it provides the network for a cybercafe.

    Win2k or NT4?

Can you log on to the machine at all? If its a Domain Controller for a LAN then you *might* be able to log on using the username and password that your users use for your client machines. If its Win2k then you can use 'RunAs' to sort it.

    Or

Try logging on at a client machine as domain admin and using a tool like dameware (www.dameware.com)

    Bogobot.

Take a look at these, never tried the fix so can't say if it'll work.

Posting over in MS Apps/OS might an idea.

    Server is NT4

Thanks for the links Frank. It think NTRights.exe is my best bet. Anyone ever used it ?
