Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"with the Red Devils having already earned their place in the next phase of the tournament, Ferguson had selected an unfamiliar looking team."

    www.soccerage.com

    Man. United
    19 Ricardo López
    2 Gary Neville
    3 Philip Neville
    6 Ferdinand
    18 Scholes
    20 Solskjær
    21 Forlán
    22 O'Shea
    25 Fortune
    27 Silvestre
    42 Richardson

Can someone explain to me how this team is unfamiliar? Apart from richardson and ricardo this team is v.similar to the one fielded every week in the premiership. And inexperienced? There are 10 internationals on that team!

    Then ferguson goes on..

"You can't deny them their victory, they scored two fantastic goals" but (explain this one fergie) "We should have won the game"

    ??????????????????????????????????

It is not unfamiliar - not too sure what they are on about.

We had a few good chances but they got cracking goals, IF we had scored all our chances (who does!!) then maybe we would have one, bar that we had a lot of possesion but no cut through their defence.

Sure what else is he going to say TBH " I think that they should have hammered, we did not deserve to win the match.."
He is the manager he has to back his team

after watching the game (was told the scorelien before) i didnt think Man U actually played that badly. The first 2 haifa goals were ****ing amazing. Imo it was more the formation that the non regular 1st team that ****ed man u up.
Why did he change to an x-mas tree formation when he was playing 4-5-1 away from home in europe all season?

Poor scholes was totally overun being the only vastly experienced midfielder in there which led to them scoring 2 crackers as the midfield wasnt there too close them down. imo.

still cant get over them crackers :)

(ricardo looked pretty decent. penalty was his fault but every 1 makes mistakes)
