    Internet sharing for small lan
    via single channel isdn..

    wingate just isnt cutting it

    any ideas?

    Need help asap

    need this setup for 2pm :-)
    Atm wingate is doing the job but it doesnt have a feature to disconnect if idle

    If you can use linux go with smoothwall.org, ipcop.org, freesco.org as NAT/Firewalls. I'm running smoothwall at the mo and it's sweet :)

    For windows, either use the built-in Internet Connection Sharing, or if that doesn't work, I seem to remember a product called winroute which would do the trick, cost something like $30. As always, any of the free unixes will do the trick for zero software cost if you're interested in investing time in learning how to make it all go (or you're already familiar with unix system administration and networking).

    wingate has always had the option to disconnect when idle. Look in the ras settings.

    winroute pro is also a good option....
