    Hi all,

I have an old System (PII 233, 64MB Ram, Win 98)

I'm thinking of getting Office XP. Will it be too slow to bare? I am getting a new system soon so if it is just a little slow for a while i can handle that but if keeps crashing and sluging along I'll use my old 97V. I was useing office 2000 and After i formated the CD's were dystroyed and i can't use 'em.

    Anyway What do you think?

I was running office xp on a p166mmx, 96mb SD ram on win98se. While loading the various apps took a little longer than loading the corresponding office '97 apps, once open, the difference was unnoticable (apart from the saving of very large documents).

I have Office Xp running on P2 233MHz 192Mb RAM, and I had it running on 64Mb RAM. No real difference really, obviously better with more ram
