what excatly does this upgrade do? i mean does it sgnifically increase the performance or what? also: i have a geforce 3 ti500 (ti200 gpu), when dx9 eventually somes out, will i be able to take advantage of its new...er.....things that it does? i plan to get a new card next summer (geforce 5/4 nv30 or whatever) and prob a new processor (1.8-2.0ghz). any suggestions?

Your geforce 3 wont be able to take full advantage of directx 9 as it is a directx 8 card.But if you get the NV30 it will .
