Looks like anyone signed up the mcd newsletter is getting free tickets......must be having problems filling the venue.

I think that The Walls are playing west of the Shannon too.

November 28th in the Travellers Friend Hotel, Castlebar.

Might just be a vicious rumour or can anyone set the record straight?

Oh dear....didnt see that thread before.

Got tickets through MCD before for some football themed play in the gaiety a while back. When i turned up there was a huge queue who i thought i would be able to avoid with me being personally put on the guest list by MCD and all. Turned out the whole queue was guest list.

I actually got a mail from MCD twice saying i got tickets. Wonder if that means i got 4 free tickets....

I got 2 emails too...thought it was kinda strange too...wont be going though. Why are we all on the guestlist? Haven't they sold the tickets or what?

Just got this mail from MCD....




Hello There,

A little bit of bad news...our server went a bit crazy when we were sending
a random winners mail out for The Walls show in the Ambasssador on Saturday
night. The result being that it went to too many people , too many times .
( a special apology to Frank who got the e mail 23 times!!! ).

I have run out of Walls tickets.!!!

I have given out all my guest allocation and I can't get my hands on any
more. The tickets were giving out on a first come , first served basis so
sorry that I ran out before I got to you.

I will be sending out tickets for another show to all of you who I have had
to turn down for Walls tickets. This will be done tomorrow evening once we
get the glitches in our server sorted.

Once again my apologies to you all. There are still a few tickets available
from Ticketmaster if you wish to buy some.
