Looking for a good Newsgroup provider

    Hi all

    I'm trying to find out a good newsgroup service. Neither eircom nor esat carry the groups i want (usually in the alt.binaries.sounds.x category) and good free servers are few and far between.

    Does anyone know if there are any either here or in England with a good selection of groups and file retention of a couple of weeks or so?

    Considering what I have to fork out just to get online, a few quid extra for a good ng service is just a drop in the ocean

    newsservice is cheap at 7euro per month for 5GB of traffic, where giganews charges $7.95 for 1GB, but retains files for two weeks I think.

    retention crap at a week or so but completions are good and there is no cap
