    Alrighty,

    Anyone know how to turn on Logging for internal mails on Exchange 5.5? I believe ive turned on every type on tracking and maximun logging.. however, when I send a simple email from one person to another internally, it doesnt appear anywhere in any log..

    Any ideas?

    Server -> nt4 with exchange 5.5
    Clients -> w2k with Outlook 2000

    Cheers

    ps. exchange blows

    In Exchange Admin make sure the following is turned on:

    1. goto "yoursitename", configuration, mta site configuration, enable message tracking

    2. goto "yoursitename", configuration, servers, "yourservername", message transfer agent, diagnositcs logging.

    If you change everything to maximum, dont forget to increase the size of your event logs coz they'll fill up very quickly.

    Also, dont forget to restart the mta service after making any change.

    Actually, its a bit more complex than that.

    I got it working alight, except I have it recording both internal and external emails now (ahh well!).
