    Just a thought after randomly looking through this interweb thingy, and got to wondering

    how on earth do some companies/web sites allow you to make your own graphics on line?

    do you have to sell your soul to bill gates to find out.

    basically I am looking for pointers in the right directions, websites that maybe explain or show how these things are done, as i am just curious how this is done.:confused:

    You can generate images with GD lib in PHP . It's particuarly useful for doing graphs of trends etc.

    Java applets could be used as well I believe.
