I want to enable Hibernation but it's taking up close to 1GB and I don't want that much space taken up on my C: drive.

How do I move it to another drive?

    ISTR you

    1. Ensure the other drive is fully defragged
    2. Enable hibernation first
    3. A hidden dir is created with a big file, note the path

    ...like c:\windows\hibernate\hiber.sys

now search registry for hiber.sys (start run regedit)

    change path to d:\hiber.sys

    reboot

Check the MS KB support.microsoft.com for more data
