Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ok that thread was just too long.

    Here is the abridged text for the 1.04 balance upgrade/downgrades.

    TERRAN:
    Wraith
    - Decreased cost to 150 minerals, 100 gas.
    - Increased cooldown rate of ground attack.
    - Increased air to air damage to 20.

    Dropship:
    - Increased speed slightly.
    - Increased build time.

    Science Vessel:
    - Decreased cost to 100 minerals, 225 gas.
    - Increased acceleration.
    - Increased overall damage of Irradiate.

    Battlecruiser:
    - Increased its starting armor to 3.
    - Increased Yamato Cannon damage to 260.

    Goliath:
    - Increased ground damage to 12.
    - Increased effectivness of weapon upgrade on ground to air weapon system.

    Nuke:
    - Nuclear Missiles build faster.

    ComSat:
    - Decreased energy cost to 50.

    Starport:
    - Decrease cost of Starport to 150 minerals, 100 gas.
    - Decreased add-on cost of Control Tower to 50 minerals, 50 gas.
    - Decreased build time.

    Dragoon:

    Sunken Colony:
    - Decreased cost of Sunken Colony upgrade to 50 minerals.
    - Decreased build time.
    - Increased attack rate of Sunken Colony.
    - Increased damage to 40.

    Spore Colony:
    - Decreased build time.
    - Changed damage type to normal.

    Greater Spire:
    - Increased build time.

    Ok, So apart from the speed increase (when we pay for it) of the Overlord (who still doesnt go all that fast even then. eg: he is outpaced by unupgraded spitters) and the sunken colonies overall improvement (remember you still have to build/sacrafice a creep colony for every sunken you want so they cost 125 really).

    The real changes (rather then these tinkerings) is the decreased larva production which was a huge reduction and basically shutdown the Zerg rush tactics. Also the increased build time which really slows us down.

    As someone said, Muties and Hydras make up 70% (if not more) of the zerg army so that will give you an idea of how much slower the whole race just got overall.

    DeV. (whose sick of being told that Zerg are the strongest race by people who dont play them smile.gif. Wonder why not :p)
