uploading avatars?

    is it possible to upload your own avatar? if so could you please tell me? or is it to do with bandwith?
    i seen that there is like 10,000 users on boards, but ive never seen 2 peeps with the same avatars!

    anyway the usual way is ask one of the admins. its up to them. wasnt there a thread about this a few days ago?

    Because it would open a can of worms. Enabling users to upload their own custom avatars leaves the door open for offensive, pornographic, or otherwise undesirable or illegal images to be placed on the boards site...

    A few people made them... but mostly it was Hobbes.

    I did a couple meself.

    and you can bet your blarney they would too.
    i've only see this option work on one boards and thats because its an american board and everyone is so damn positive.
    they even have animated avatars!
