Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone watching this on Satuday nights on N2 at 10:35?

Based on the novel by stephen King.

    Fairly good viewing

I've watched it a few times now on the Sci-Fi channel and it's an excellent show

I was just wondering how much of the book has been used so far? Continually got that guilty feeling as I watched it that since this is quite good I should go read the book (which would be better if a little spoilt by watching the series).

I haven't read the book myself (one of the few King novels I haven't) but the film with Christopher Walken and Martin Sheen is excellent.

From what I've seen it's faithful to both the film and the book. My one gripe is the star of it. He looks in pretty good health, not like someone who had just awakened from a coma. Christopher Walken was practically wasting away throughout the film.

Anyone seen the series on SciFi channel? It's a good series, that helps your brain function after a hard night out on the town drinking for 9hours... :D
