Ah mother of God..... now I'm seein' things. Can all my prayers, pleadings and live chicken sacrifices really have come true ?!?!?

Those 'lovely' people in Esat customer care tell me nothing. I've even called 3 times to try and get different people. Maybe I should try goats instead of chickens........

Can one find out what exchange one is actually on?
Is this information available on the world wide web thingy?
Or would one need to phone the wonderfull customer service people at Eircon?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 185 ✭✭crazyasafox

Normally I phone 1901 and give them your number, should be able to tell you what exchange you are on

  • Registered Users Posts: 607 ✭✭✭dougal

Excellent - that's what I shall do. Normally I hate to bother those lovely call centre people with such trivialities. Expecially if I can find a point and click answer to my query.

    www.adslnow.ie/index.php

This company are resellers of the ESAT BT service and have a map with info on DSL enabled exchanges in each county.

My company did some of the design work for the site. As far as I know the info is quite up to date, but I couldn't swear by it.

    Regards

Kilcock Road Exchange, Maynooth and Leabgarrow Exchange, Arranmore Island.... not sure if either of these have ISDN yet, no chance of DSL for me for a few decades....
