Problem with new VCR

    I bought a new SEG VCR5380 in lidl today, but having problems with it.

    I get ntl's basic tv package coming into the tv, and have a scart connecting the TV to the VCR, but the VCR detects no programs when I do this.

    When I connect the cable to the VCR, it detects all the chans and displays them fine, but you can only browse through the video and it's remote.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    perhaps the tv doesn't carry a video-out signal?... disconnect the cable and tune in a station manually.. does the vcr pick this up with the scart cable connected?

    Needed another cable from the aerial out on the VCR to the cable in on the TV as well as the Scart :/
