The design I am tryiing to put together is pedominantly Red, and in a word looks yuck!!

Does anyone have any examples or know of some tasteful 'Red' websites, so i can get my creative juices flowing

    Thanks

    Motm

take a peek at www.gamier.com for inspiration only

it used to be much much redder, but is an exampe of how to create a simple color theme in an effective manner

Tell your friend red is bad.

It'll make people leave the site a lot quicker.

Should that be www.gamire.com, perchance? :D

<nitpick> Gameire redirects to Gamire </nitpick>

To be honest, I haven't seen too many red websites. Very hard on the eyes.

I'll keep an eye out, though...

Had to laugh when I saw this. Working on a "brown" site at the moment, but red is worse. LOL

How red is red. Have to say red is a real hard color to read. Also anyone who is colour sensitive (colour blind) won't see it as red, they'll see it as some other colour.

I was going to post a few links of sites I've screengrabed for reference, that are red, but when I checked back most of them have removed most of the red from their sites. Thats probably speaks volumes about using red.

Anyway one of the sites still has some red on it. See here...

You might want to tone it back like they have done.

Have to say I really don't like the design of www.manutd.com or www.redfm.ie. And as a user of the www.vodafone.ie which looks ok, most of it doesn't work most of the time. Its also very slow and a real pain to use.
