the frames- the band i love to hate but have to admit to them being brilliant live, despite glen hansard doing his best to spoil it all.
i would have voted for the rednecks but ive never seen them live

They call themselves Irish (although they're from the North). They played this year.

I have asked for Therapy? to be added.

But Jetplane Landing are based in London. Londons not in Ireland.

JPL are half Irish...two out of four, Andrew and Cahir. That, plus their obvious conection with the north (played their first ever gig there for a start) qualifies them surely?

And if you want Irish, what about Wilt?

Got to pop for the Frames, even though I'm not a massive fan or anything. JJ72 were a let down, they are just a sposh onstage as off it.
