Win 2k problem

    Guys n Gals
I have a home PC and work PC. Both are Win 2k. When I install new hardware at home I always get the 'not MS digitally signed' error and sometimes the hardware drivers are rejected. This problem has prevented me installing a scanner which is 2k compliant. I recently bought an Archos Jukebox which when installed at home gives the error but installs OK but in work I get no such error.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanking ye in advance.

He wants to know what servise packs are installed on both machines...

A lot of software is not digitally signed.
It just means that MS has not verified it to work with 2000 and that the system is not positive that the software is genuinly from who it says it's from.

To turn off digital signing in w2k follow steps below

1.Right click my computer and choose properties

    2.Click hardwar tab

    3.Click driver signing

4.Place tick in "Ignore - Install all files, regardless of file signature"

No more stupid Microsoft messages ! :)
