    Anyone got any tips on the best type of implement to use when smacking your child? ;)

    I would recommend the wooden spoon. very traditional and yet effective

    and for the repeatedly troublesome child the rolling pin

    I remember as a kid being most afraid of those yellow 'matchbox car tracks'..... ouch, salty.

    Now that I have , em, matured and become a parent, I want to pass on those fond memories to my family :p

    Seriously though, do people still have rolling pins at hand in their kitchens nowadays?
