    "Turn’s Gavin Fox to join Idlewild

    Turn’s bass player Gavin Fox will be leaving the band at the end of the band’s current tour with The Frames to join Scottish rock band Idlewild.

    Gavin Fox will replace Bob Fairfoull, who left two months ago, as bass player in Idlewild. The 23 year old Dubliner has been a close friend of Idlewild for several years.

    Turn will continue on with a “to be announced” replacement for Gavin. Gavin’s final gig with Turn will be at Dublin’s Temple Bar Music Centre on New Year’s Eve.

    Turn’s new album entitled Forward will be released in early 2003 and will be supported by a national tour.

    Idlewild are on tour until the end of the year with technician, Alex Grant, filling in on bass duties. The new line up makes its debut in 2003. The band will then depart to Australia and the USA for shows to support the release of their new album."
