I don't think your a customer, you're something more akin to a member of a community. Communities have rules, and if you break them the community and it's leaders (in this case DeV) take action. What that is is pretty much up to the Admins here. I do beleive though she was given a chance to come back..and mucked it up. I don't see why your complaining then?

And yes people do turn away customers - I've done it many times - when they are more trouble than the income they bring in. As boards.ie is a free operation, I doubt its a desicion he didn't find to hard to make

As for clicking on the link - not everyone viewing the boards would know what to expect when clicking on it, or indeed not everyone here would of been paying much attention to it when clicking - so no, it's not their fault.

I think the admins are right to be protective of boards - it's a good thing, so why let it run free and go to hell? And I doubt your closing line will help your friends case.
