"Yowch" is an understatement... I'll think twice before I use my laptop on my lap... top again... roasted knob is definately one to avoid

Ouch. I too have noticed bottom of laptop getting hot (for that reason it's been staying on a table)

I worked for them briefly (3 months, finished at the beginning of the month). I remember in product training, they specifically told us that this is why they call them notebooks instead of laptops...
