Dtt In Rosslare?

    A FRIEND OF MINE WAS WONDERING IS IT POSSIBLE TO RECIEVE DTT IN THE ROSSLARE AREA.HE CAN RECIEVE ALL THE ENGLISH CHANNELS INCLUDING CHANNEL 5,CRYSTALCLEAR.

    Depends on where he's positioned... close to coast.. is he in the strand or the harbour.. harbour is higher - probably better line of sight to transmitter especially if he lives close to the water tower!

    The answer should be yes,as up here in north wexford, further away from the presely tx than Roslare it's possible even at sea level without a view to the coast , but a little height and sea view helps a lot.

    Depends on what you would describe as crystal also, analog presely would have to be almost mirror like ,ie very little static for to be able to expect the DTT signal from presely to be reliable.

    Presumably it has to pass over or near Roslare in a slightly stronger state than when it gets to me 40 odd miles further up the coast:D
