    This going to be on?

If we are continuing temple, what are the chances of editing in a merchant in town that actually stocks some decent weapons/thieves tools etc. I think the guy in the inn (called "shopkeeper") should be a merchant but I think his script is missing..

PS. I would suggest that instead of tearing down to the second dungeon level and getting shredded by a dire bear, we concentrate on the first level (underground) where the big bad so far have been bugbears and two Ogres.

    Totally up to you guys.

I've found a really neat little module which is aimed lower level characters, so if want we could give taht a go.

I'm planning on leaving the second (boards) server up and running permently and put up a simple module with basic shop etc, but no exp granting item so ppl can have characters created a head of time and if they want make purchases and swaps between players.

Shall we say 8:30 again ?

ps. Will we make a move on creating a persisent module for ourselves ?

Persistent mod would be so so tough to do i reckon.

At the moment with work, I know I don't really have the time (well more the inclination) to do anything more than play the odd game :)

    Will be there on Wed.

LoLth, that shopkeeper in the inn worked for me. Still had crap equipment though.

perhaps the lower level adventure would be an idea, it will serve to give a bit extra clout to the group before temple :)

that shopkeeper didn't say anyhting when I tried to talk to him. His mouth moved but nothing happened. perhaps I should've picked his pocket :)

Rev, having a non-xp giving area would be a good idea, that way characters can tool up and prepare before the scenario starts. It also removes the temptation for people to run ahead (we were waiting for the rest to join Sunless Citadel but that Fruppi guy hoofed staright in :( , he was a handy thief to have around though, it's just not as much fun when the scenario is played like a race).

As far as persistent state world goes, how hard would it be to convert a , quite large, module into a persistent state? Surely it would just be a question of altering a few objects here and there and setting tags for completed quests. I have the first three areas mapped (overland maps, not the dungeons etc.) of a module I am working on. I think it would make a decent setting for a PW if it could be modified. If anyone's interested I will post up a link to a map (hexmap for PnP game) of the area in question and an overview of the main points of interest. Don't want to give too many details about the module itself though as I hope to use you lot as guinea pigs for playtesting - with revs permission to use the server of course :)

I suggest we give this module a try

You'll need to download it since it contains custom voice etc.

Rev I got the file down here in work,

But have no HD in with me to take it home :/

A just under 20mb download at home will likely take forever ... or some other amount of time.

    http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/modules/data/1026255574170.shtml

a short dungeon crawl for approx 3 3rd level pcs, we should have more than three 2nd lvl players so it should balance.

    http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/modules/data/1028690754092.shtml
lvls 1-3, 4-6 players, also suitable for us.

a final fantasy 1 remake for lvls 1-3 , 9meg download though has a hakpak with music etc.

medium size dungeon, levels 1 to 8. Since we are level 2 we should be able to get a good run at it at the start. 1.65 meg. Recommends a thief (who me?) and a dwarf - bah, who needs stumpies slowing us down :)

city, dungeon adventure, lvls 1-4 group of 4. Seemingly has a bug with save games that was probably handled in a NWN patch..(?)
    221k download.

    this has some good reviews.

since we are 2nd level we won't die that much at the beginning.

    Raven: lvls 1 - 13, campaign module :)
me like campaigns. 2.6mb download so it's not that bad. No mention of haks or custom stuff.
