    The following OS'es are being end-of-lifed by Microsoft, on the 31st december 2002:

    MS-DOS (all versions)
    Win 3.x
    Win95
    NT3.5x

    ME is still based on DOS, no matter how much MS tried to hide it. That was what it made it so suckylicious. The NT group are/were the only full DOS free MS OSes.

    AFAIK it's still listed as a "current product" in IBMland.

    (development costs never recouped - the only people in IBM who write things off are accountants)

    (may be wrong though, but it was still current in 1997)
