Why was my post recycled?

Why was my post to the Komplett board put in the recycle bin?

Seems like a very odd decision. Mabye someone didn't quite understand the tone. Or is it some form of censorship?

I would consider myself reasonably intelligent and after reading the post a few times I can't figure any reason why it should be censored or removed. Isn't socialism hip with the young trendies anymore?

Please explain.

Because if we don't recycle, we end up simply depleting earth's natural resources ad infinitum.

"Do Komplett intend to accept Lazer in the future?" would have been on topic for what is in fact a commercial support resource, while "What a sad capitalist, profit oriented society we live in" was pretty much rhetorical rant material.

So, IMHO, nuking it might be considered a bit harsh, but your post was very much off topic, and how liberal a mod is with such posts on their board is entirely up to them.

Unlike most other forums on boards, the Komplett forum is a vehicle for communication between you and komplett. Its not a discussion place for technology, or different economic philosophies We have definate forums for that!

The main point of my post is that Komplkett don't take Laser cards. It seems to me that there is no reason why they shouldn't, most Irish retailers accept them now. Some retailers say that it is more difficult to set up Laser payments. That may be true but to my cynical mind it suits nobody only credit card companies who make money from the transaction and ,often, from the interest on late payments. It seems odd on a forum like boards, where Eircom are(rightly) being crucified for their rip off mentality, that credit card companies who are charging one of the highest rates in the world here in Ireland should have such a soft ride.

Many working class people and others who are afraid of going mad on a credit card prefer to spend only money that the have. It's seems like a philosophy that should be supported.

Of course my post was directly related and directed to Komplett and as for it being waffle....well I'll try to keep my sentences shorter in future. After this one I mean.

Hope this one isn't too difficult to understand

Just to make things clear on this and end this hassle as everyone should be happy; Komplett do not accept debit cards and will not do so untill there is a secure enough solution for it. Take Dabs for instance. They just gave debit cards up due to the fraud risk. There are quite a few elements to consider in these cases. Not only what seems appropriate from the outside.

I will not comment this discussion any further as the original question is now answered.
