I've had the 7650 for about a week and have to say I really like it.
The only problem is I have slept in on 3 mornings since I got it :o (I only ever use my phone as my alarm clock). The default alarm clock on it is way too quiet. I have downloaded a few programs and finally I found one that allows you to customise the sound of the alarm and its volume.

In case anyone else needs it: http://psiloc.com/nokia/eng/wclock7650/ . Also has nice world clock things on it.

I am going to list some of the sites I have found, would be grateful if anyone else post up links to other useful software etc :)

    Bluetooth tutorial : http://deviceadvice.info/phone/nokia/7650/howto/

    Free midlets: http://www.spruce.jp/freemidlets/

    Web Browser/mail stuff : http://www.reqwireless.com/

A review with some general help and links at the end : http://www.filesaveas.com/7650.html

hi Spunj - could be a good idea to get a list of sites that compile them or highlight new releases/updates - here's the top 3 sites i've bookmarked for 7650 software listings / up-to-date news - they should give you a bundle of apps:

    My-Symbian.com Smartphone Section

    Handango.com Symbian Area (7650 search)

All About Symbian 7650 Area (thanks to rabbitinlights for that one)

Cheers Brian. I was hoping not just to get site links, but possibly a link to your own 'essential' apps and why you think they are so.

There are loads of sites filled with many apps and it can be a pain downloading and trying them till you find a suitable and/or non buggy one.

For instance that clock I posted was the first one (after 3 tries) which allowed me to change the alarm volume. Maybe we can review apps we use to give others an idea why they might need them :)

Please post any frequently asked questions (with the answers if you know) & important links in this thread. This includes popular links to software (e.g. the 7650, which is why one such thread has been merged with this one), and other resources, e.g. guides.

Space Doubler - excellent app which compresses unused files and programs making lots of extra space :D: http://www.psiloc.com/nokia/eng/sdoublerS60/index.html
