Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lads if you'd care to look at the Sig Rules page i.e. www.boards.ie/sigrules you might notice these few things:
Carbine, you've got two images, which is against the rules.

STaN, you've got an image and text, which is also against the rules.

Now I don't really mind your sigs myself and I would proabably report a bad sig myself if it was really annoying but if you guys are going to appoint yourselves as some kind of sig-police then I think it might be a nice start to stop breaking the rules yourselves.

In answer to your question Gone Shootin, here's where it says that:

For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and 20k in size. No animated images are allowed.

Also the only reason images (plural) was used is because signatures (plural) was used. One image per sig.

Any other way and it would be acceptable to have an infinate amount of images in one's sig. This is not the case.

Sorry, I'm going to have to say no, because (a) I could never be described as merry and (b) SMAT breaks the very sig rules it tries to enforce.

Just because you set up some annoying little club doesn't give you any power to abuse! You are the same as the other users here and should obey the rules like everyone else.

TBH I don't really mind most people with images and text in their sigs. What gets to me though is that you and SMAT go around telling people their sigs break the rules and complaining about them on Admin, trying to get your noses so far up the admins' arses you can smell what they had for breakfast, while at the same time you break the rules yourself all the time.

I really dont care who tells me about sig breaches. Sometimes I snip them sometimes I think... ooooh look theirs fluff in my belly button.

Anything animated, annoying or stupid gets cut.

Who brings it to my attention (SMAT or otherwise) is irrelevant. If you asked me who's in SMAT I couldnt tell you...

Animated sigs are annoying and add to load times considerably, so I cut them (except that DJ guy who's hand moved ever so slightly... he was cool )

Big sigs annoy me too but I let them pass but some of the best humour on Boards has been in Sigs so I like them and I like mine.

I dunno.. I think you people will hurt your brains if you think too much about this stuff. Reporting is fine, it makes my life easier so I like it. PM's work better for it though.
