I'm on "Eviction Notice" level of NOD where I have to stop GDI from finding some secret in a NOD temple.

Problem is I have completly dominated the level (wiped out all GDI troops and took over nearly all thier buildings).

Thing is I've totally explored the map, there's no temple and no more troops to kill so I'm stuck on the level. Anyone know how to complete this or were the temple is supposed to be? (it's possible GDI sold it).

One thing, the AI kind of sucks. In some cases it's pretty cool and taking me down, in others it does stupid.

In order to take over it's base, I coax it's support troops out then send in engineers to stand beside each building, then grab all the buildings at the same time so they can't sell them in time. Works every time so far.

This wil work if you play on normal and if you chose to desrtoy the communiactions outpost first( nice level, takes place during an ion storm smile.gif.)

The nod temple is up in the top right hand corner of the level. At the start of the level, send an attack buggy to the left, then shoot the van thats across the train tracks. The train then crashes into the turret. Use the buggy to kill the 2 troops. Build about 6 tick tanks for defence around your green tiberium patch. Then deploy them. send the buggy along the left into the corner. You might attract the attentiion of two titans, When you do send the buggy down to where you've deployed your tanks.

Keep building tanks! til you've got about 20, then roll them through the sandbags at the back of the base and take out GDI's const. yard, war factory, refinery and barracks in that order. That should do it

Argh! I didn't play the other level first. :/

    Ok I'll do that.

As for beating the level it's easy. One intresting thing, the computer looks after it's harvester. I amassed a mother of an army to his left then another large army of cyborgs/disc throwers at the tib field. As soon as the harvester came back I let rip with all my cyborgs and he moved 95% of his forces out of the base in a mad rush, it was a walk over to get into the base, run some engineers in and fortify it. smile.gif

As for what I said about the AI. Maybe I'm imagining things, but I'm getting the impression the AI is learning. It's copped onto one of my tricks (coaxing his men out one by one. He either doesn't come out or he keeps replacing them). Also the SOB copies some of my tactics.

Yeah, I noticed that aswell. Attack a harvester with a chopper and the next time it comes out it will have some anti-air defences escorting it. Attack by ground and it will go after you with tick tanks.

If you figure out where you find the ship in the next level, let us know.

The GDI missions are a sinch!!!

Ok the next mission, I can't complete yet. but I can give you the low down that I know.

    1. At the start the train is important, you must follow its tracks. Take out troops who get in your way.

    2. Stop the engineers half way across the second bridge and get the troops to take out that Mech. A ground troop will be the east, but wont engage if you stay out of thier way. do not go to your west!!

    3. As you follow the tracks around head up (bridge is out to the east). There is another mech, take that out. You cannot loose any engineers on this mission.

    4. as you head around you'll see to the west a landing pad, once the ship flies overhead your in trouble, mechs will start coming from the west. The tracks will lead to a train station. From here you head east then south you will find the UFO. Send in one engineer and he'll tell you that the muppet of commander has legged it with it.

That's about as far as I've gotten in the game, I was down to one engineer at that stage (with 3 or 4 heavy Mechs on it's tail).

Only other thing I know is the other commanders base is to the south of the UFO, they attack you also, but if you fall back they will attack GDI instead.

    I'd agree with monty.

The AI is still werid, in some instances it makes really stupid mistakes, in others it's like playing a human.

I kept harrassing his harvester in one game, when I came back with another load of men to harrass it, 4 underground tanks appeared and men poured out of them to wipe me out. Like it knew smile.gif

on the level where you have to find the tacitus, the ship is about 75% up the screen and about 60% across, if you know what i mean. just follow the train and when it stops to refuel from the van just head south and you;; find the ship. use an engineer on this and youll discover that the tacitus is gone.
then just go south on the left hadn side and when you come across the broken bridge go up onto that area and when an engineer comes to fix it kill him.
the train should be there, blow the hell out of it and then blow up the cargo part. the tacitus looks like a big hex ball and you just run over it.
the level is completely speed, so dont bother to kill anyone.
once you know where the ship is, you can just run there from the start of the map.

im stuck on the map where you have to capture mcniells brother sad.gif
