Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Interesting article on sea-level changes

    Hmm. Interesting article that.

So if one takes it as gospel that the sea level taken back in 1841 was indeed accurate, that would poo poo arguments that global warming was leading to rising sea levels.

Except. It can demonstrably be shown that the Ice sheets particularly in Antartica are melting. Now you don't have to be a career Meterologist to figure out if the Ice sheets melt, sea levels will rise and globally, there will be more precipitation (as a general rule of thumb).

Sometimes I think one has to doubt the objectivity of study (x) and look at a particular phonemon in the context of all available information. To my mind most information I have seen to date points to rising sea levels, most attributable to the fact that the Antartic ice sheets are indeed melting, due to global warming (allegedly).

    Regards
    Typedef.
