    Probably more suited to The [Arts] board, but not much of a response there:

    With Christmas coming real soon, I want to buy a present for someone which will allow them to scan their huge selection of 35mm slides..

    On Komplett.ie, they have an Epson USB Perfection 1260 Photo 48bit scanner for €160.

    Has anybody used this (or a simillar product) for this purpose, and have any idea what the results might be like?

    Any info. would be greatly appreciated...
