    If you are interested in the hows and whys of memory bandwidth, and why it's so important for system performance, theres an excellent articlehere.

    It explains why bandwidth and latency are the bottlenecks in any pc, why ddr is not twice as fast as sdr, and much more.
    In fact I'd recommend reading every article on that site, at least those written by hannibal.

    Yeah its pretty good alright, arstechnica always seem to come out with very detailed and well written articles.
