    A lot of recent internet talk about the standard of bands has shown a general opinion of blandness among A LOT of bands. Generic indie pap is the most used phrase. I'm delighted to say that a lot of the bands we've got playing fall far away from that unfortunate tag but there are quite a lot of bands that are eager but don't channel same eagerness into goof songs with a bit of innovation.

    Anyway this Friday's Voodoo gig has an especially powerful and innovative line-up. Expect to see Various wind instruments, effect-ed guitars, technology and crucially thrilling songs and a pure sexual communion between performer and audience FROM THE START!



    Only a fool will be elsewhere on Friday!

    Post up what you think afterward. This will be an education for a lot of bands.

    Friday December 6th, €5 if you id yourself as a boards.ie member €6 otherwise! Velvetron, The Cathode Ray Mission, Misguided, Waterstone

    Effected guitars are about as old as it gets.

    So is playing a C note followed by an Eb but its how ya do it!

    Example: Playing a note followed by the same note raised an octave, note the disparate nature of these pieces
