Battlefield 1942 *Problems*

    Lads, I need your input/advice

    When I try to run this on a lan my systems locks up ie my CPU usage soars up to a 100%...
    I have tried turning down resolution etc on the card and in the game...however it doesnt seem to make any difference.

    Also I have made sure that there isnt any applications running in the background while the game is running.

    System spec:

    P4 2gig
    512 sdram
    Gforce4 64mb video gard
    80gig scsi hard drive.
    OS: Windows XP


    Any help would be appreciated.

    lower sound settings to 16 hz

    also have you got he snazzy patch that reduces cpu uasage ??


    also are you trying to play the game on the pc thats hosting??

    if so thats never a good idea.
