Folks If I need to get photos from my camera onto a PC, what sort of software do I need to do that ? Any ideas... thanks, paddy

This depends on the camera really. My sony P30 just works like a USB drive - once the drivers are installed and you plug it in, its acessible through windows explorer.

Some cameras might require special software to access them, but I think most modern ones work as above. Older rs232 based ones most likely will require software from the manufacturers.
