Probably cut you off "by accident" as they did to me. Try and find your junction box and see if it has been interfered with. If there is a steel cap over your terminal you have been cut off.

rang them up this morning they said to me there was a major fault in harolds cross and surrounding areas and engineers were en route!
hope its sorted by the time i get home.
