Kranog - jesus mate, what do you for living that you can suggest buying a Mesa in such an off-the-cuff fashion?

I have a well paying job but the cost of a Mesa is still ****ing shocking!!!

Hmmmmm.....well if you wanna buy second best...by all means.....personally I'd hold off a few months so I can get a Mesa in....if you bought it in Musician...you'd pay about 5 grand for it...you buy it in Instrumental....you'd pay COSIDERABLY less for it....besides....really the Triamp is far better than the Mesa too in my opinion !!! ;)

jesus, kran, you insult the mighty DSL, and you have what again? a park head?? correct me if i'm wrong? ok fair dues, mesa are the mutts nuts, but there's no way you can call a DSL s.h.i.t.e., the TSL on the other hand aint great...... DG if i hear of a half stack going cheap i'll let you know, you guys know where to find me...

    or better yet, try ebay....

Nope...I got a Marshall G-100 head....solid state...it aint what I want but it's got a really nice clean channel on it....still rather the Triamp to the Mesa myself....you should check it out yourself sometime.....
Each to our own....I'm just not mad about the DSL tone I guess !!!

I've tried ebay 120, but everything was either overpriced or the fuc kers wouldn't ship to Ireland. I'm still looking. I saw a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Head for 1500 in the buy and sell but it's been sold. Bummer.

    Aiiiiight bro....I'll explain how it work's mmm'kay...
if it say Park on the front of the amp...then it's a Park......
so ya see right there.....we can agree.....
Mine says Marshall, not Park or indeed not Fisher-Price either !!!
Just because it aint a valvestate don't mean it's not a Marshall none the less...
Have we learned anything yet...I'm not disputing my amp isn't the best amp in the world, I'm merely trying to advise my brother DG here on other options as a DSL is fairly limited in tone, it's either Clean, Vintage or Dual....and that's all folks, thanx for springin' €1500 on me !!!
Whereas for a few quid more...you might get lucky on a second hand mesa dual or triple recitfier....or better a H&K Triamp...if you are REALLY lucky that is !!!
I can only assume you got a DSL too...that's fine with me man....as long as you are happy with it that's all that matters, a few mates of mine swear by them, I take back what I said about them being s.h.i.t. amps and just say...they aint my cup of tea !!!
    Are we cool ???
