Couldn't think of which forum to post this in. So apologies if its in the wrong place and just let me know where its been shifted to if needs be.

Been offered some PC's in lieu of money I'm owed for work done. Wondering if its worth taking the PC's or hassling them for my £££. But I was wondering what the real price of the PC's is.

The kit is worth a decent bit of money but you'll have all the hassle of selling it to recoup your losses.

You must be owed a fair bit of money ;)

The question is: Wil you be able to recoup enough from this stuff to cover most of your losses?

Right - as these machines are at the very least 2nd hand, I'd expect you to get approximately:

    1. €700

    2. €1250

    3. €400

    4. €1000

Of course, you might get less....

Isn't it just more hassel for you to have to take these computers and sell them on? Why can't whoever owes you the money do this work that way you'll advoid the risk of not being able to sell on the computers.

Yes but theres always the chance that if I wait for the money and I don't get it then I'll have nothing. Bird in the hand and all that.

Can you .... umm, undo the work?

Tbh, I wouldn't take the machines unless you were satisified that you were going to make a nice few bob out of selling them on (even if you were to drop the price substantially to get a quicker sale), and make that few quid pretty sharpish!
