Wowful NTL Digital (Dub) Remote response time?

Quite often, it takes 4-6 seconds for my box to respond to the remote. Is that "normal"? I've ruled out the usual suspects like batteries, distance, light, my digisender, etc. Any ideas? .cg

no, that's about the norm. The NTL digital service is a joke and I've recently switched to Sky Digital and the difference is phenomenal.
