Well what are they. I'm getting a marshall MG50DFX for christmas and I know all about it except chorus, flange and reverb. What are they? No funny guys on the flange.

Chorus creates a sound similar to two guitars playing or a 12 string.

    Reverb creates echo.

Flange splits the signal in two, leaving one as it is, and messing with the other one, making it "wobbly". Kinda like putting your hand on a tape to slow it down.

Sounds to me your buying an amp you have never even tried, not think thats a bit ya know silly ?

Regardless ive used the amp that version and a 100 watt version.Good amp..em as for your distortion pedal.. what kind of pedal is it ? It will sound louder most likely.. ;P

But the Marshall has two o/d's which you can use..if are using your pedal best to keep it on the clean channel unless you want a **** over the top garbeld type distortion..(not necessiarily but the Marshall o/d's are always pretty kickin) *shrug*

I have a contact in whales who can get it cheaper so I wen't into town a few days ago and tryed it out and told him to buy it. I would have guessed the quality of the pedal would increase but that doesn't matter the amp distortion is better. My pedal is a mt-2 metal zone
