It's been happening here too, for a few months (though it seems less lately.) I have a feeling it's something to do with the IP range they added a while back (the 213.202.* lot)

Could be surfing no probs, top speed, then I idle, when I click or request a page/login (IM etc) a few mins later, it either c-r-a-w-l-s or does nuffink whatsoever. Sometimes it resumes to top speed after a few mins, other times a disconnect/reconnect does the trick (as in a previous post.)

Maybe if ppl take note of the IP address
    (Start | Run | command <enter> | arp -a <enter>)
    or
    (Start | Run | winipcfg)
and post it when it happens again to see if that theory is true.

    It is what it's.

Happened a few times to me today... Completely flat lines.
Disconnecting and reconnecting seemed to do the trick..
Overall speeds seem to be down after I got a run at 6.9k yesterday... downloaded my first DivX video yesterday (where have I been?), was 105mb.. sped along conistantly..

The no browsing thing was off again yesterday for me, but I doubt it has anything to do with the IP ranges, I had one of their old IPs.

Same here - comes and goes (and I'm on one of the "traditional" (for lack of a better term) IPs)

Only web browsing though - SMTP/POP and FTP are fine.

Hmmm, could be the same here (fairly unlikely we're all having different problems at the same time) - I usually don't switch servers for a few hours if I'm uploading/downloading any files so might not have noticed.

Ties in nicely with the idea that it's an Esat DNS server problem

hows no limits going for ye now. Lately its being going great for me.
123 ping to radox cs, average 150, no loss... which is nice.

download rates are pretty good, max a steady 6kbps, average about 4.

no cl_flushentitypacket etc, nice too :D

pages loading fast enough, cant complain tbh.
