Who is the best tribute band you have ever seen?
Mine would have to be The Rubber Plants (Led Zep), they're amazing!!
If you get the chance to see them, do, you'll be blown away!!

Only one I think I saw was 'Mr. Brownstone' GnR tribute.
    They were pretty good.

But I dont really go for cover/tribute bands at all...

Thin az Lizzy (Thin Lizzy tribute from Louth??)
Live Wire (AC/DC tribute from Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan)
Whiplash (Metallica tribute from Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan)
    Metallitia (Metallica tribute from ??)
Teranova (Nirvana tribute from Kingscourt/Shercock, Co. Cavan)

These are some of the best bands I've seen anyway.

I think the singer/guitarist is the guitarist for Thin az Lizzy or something like that.

Live Wire, any dates for them coming close to cork ? Be they as good as you say I'd be mad to miss em

the best crowd ive seen so far are AB/CD. They did a gig in Nancy Spains [cork] and stayed withing the Bon era. What was to mind blowing was the lead mans voice. He may as well have been Bon Scott, attitude and all.

    a great nite :D

Well I don´t know If they´d be goin that far down the country just as yet but they sure are good. As close as you could come to seeing the real thing. Both the lead guitarist and the vocalist are the image of Brian Johnson and Angus Young. You really have to see them! The singer came up with us on the bus to Ozzfest and he really does live up to the bands name!!

Seen both maiden england and rubber plants - tbh i thought that maiden england were a better show altogether ( but no disrespect to rubber plants cos their guitarist is amazing! )

Yea, i saw both Maiden England and the Rubber Plants (Both at Brysons) and they were each amazing. Another excellent tribute band were Hells Bells. They had the AC/DC look down to perfection, and the sound was awesome. That was in Bryson's too come to think of it.

The Australian Doors were absolutely class. Saw them at a Midnight at the Olympia show - might as well have been Mr. Morrison and the boys up on that stage.
