    Got my renewal today & it's started my weekend on a downer

    Male, 23, Cork
    1300cc Yamaha Royal Star Venture (group 7)
    5 years no claims
    TPO - €1799


    Aon assured me that it would be very close to €1300. I guess I'll have to phone them on Tuesday and find out what muppet up there can't count/add.

    Anyone have the lend of a few quid?

    Price shocked me with a pleasant surprise :) but next cheapest was eagle star with 875, rest ranged from 950(quinn) to 1,134(Axa) to 1364(Allianz) for TFT.

    Good Grief! You poor things paying all that for insurance. It does get better as you get older....

    I'm over 40, 20 yrs clean driving licence, full no claims - fully comp with all benefits just renewed with AA for 473! Only restriction is I can't let a man drive my car. Not too big a price to pay for cheap insurance!

    I bet I win, €310 fully comp including contents I drive a 5.7l V8 chevy, i pay €60 a year in road tax .All legal and above board.
