i dont' think the 6310(i) e-mail functionality is supported by the networks here (or many other places from some articles i've read) - it's works over sms (rather than pop/imap) and uses an email sms server that the network would have to set-up to support it

the voda data support team should have a final answer for you though: 1850 287 000
