Only 1 movie channel left

The studio have just announced that it will be closing down before the end of the year. That coupled with the close of Carlton Cinema means TCM is going to be the only Movie channel in the basic Go Digital Package. Wonder if NTL plan to replace the channels?

Trouble is that there's really nothing to replace them with. Leaving out the Sky premium movie channels and the FilmFour ones, the only channel that shows movies regularly is Classics TV and you're not missing very much there at all.

suddenly sky digital is becoming more and more tempting what with ntls incessant problems and lack of decent channels

Thats bad news, any reason given for closure? It is simply no cash?

I've pretty much decided to ditch Go Digital in the new year...The Studio is one of the few channels that might have stopped me.
