Product Key MS Office

I have MS Office 2000 pro on cd, and I want to stick it on this computer. The problem is that the sticker with the product key on the back got ripped so now I dont have all of the key.
It's currently installed on my other pc. Is there anyway I can find this key in the registry of the computer?

Oh, and I know I'm not allowed to have it installed on two computers and only have one license. The plan is to uninstall it when I get it installed on this computer.

i doubt you'll get the product key, but you should be able to get the ID key. Perhaps you can submit this to M$ and get a product key from them

i believe a program called Belarc will display the numbers you need. also gives a run down of PC spec

its not illegal noone gave him a key just telling him where it is on his pc.

cant remember the exact location but this is close.

current version
cd key will be displayed in the box on the right.

Id be able to get it for you but unfortunatly it wont be legal. Everything I do with computers is highly illegal so srry but take KdjaC advise. it will display it.

Hey Bard,

what i was reffering to was my computer at home. Windows Xp srcewed up my modem drivers(I REALLY HATE XP). Im using the internet in work at the moment. Can't do to much messing about, I know im pretty handy with computers but I don't like risking my job as we aint suppose to be on the internet here(security here sux a$$)

I downloaded that belarc program, but it only gave me the product id number which is also what the registry gives me. So, obviously you cant get the product key from the computer.
I have however got Office 2000 installed on my pc now.

theGuru, we don't pimp warez, crackz or anything else used to "steal" software in here, whether we agree with it or not. And when we do it privately, we try to spell the search engine right, otherwise we end up looking like (even bigger) morons. Kay? Kay.
