Joe Strummer dead

Joe Strummer, formerly of the Clash, recently of the Mescaleros, brilliant musician, uber-punk and all-around-good-guy, died on Sunday aged 50, apparently of a heart attack. Just thought someone should post it. :( :( :(

It's extremely sad news, and a big shock. He was pretty young, and I recently read interviews where he said how he was finally relaxing and really enjoying home life.

He was finished with the Clash, but made some very good music with the Mescaleros recently. I only got into the Clash recently and found them really astonishing ...

Such a shame.
